Travels and Worktable: Large Box-Type Parts in One Setup
The DMC-3020 is a moving double-column machining center developed for large box-type and plate workpieces. With typical X/Y/Z travels of 3000 × 2000 × 1000 mm and a generously sized worktable, it keeps multiple process faces within a single clamping so that repeated alignment between setups is reduced.

Typical reference values: worktable approx. 3000 × 2000 mm, maximum table load around 8000 kg, and T-slots arranged for heavy fixtures. The table size can be specified to suit the actual workpiece envelope (for selection reference only).
Moving Double-Column Structure
The double column travels along the bed while the cross beam carries the spindle head, so the cutting point stays close to the workpiece and the structural loop remains compact. The castings are ribbed for stiffness and the guideways are hardened and ground to keep geometric accuracy stable under heavy cutting.
Typical Part Families
Large mould bases, machine tool beds and columns, press frames, wind-power and construction machinery structural parts, and oversized plate components that require milling, drilling, boring and tapping on several faces in one setup.
Spindle and Ram System
A high-torque spindle unit with a square ram is offered; the ram section increases rigidity when the head extends, which matters for deep cavities and tall workpieces. Both belt-driven and geared spindles can be selected according to the material mix.

Control, Drives and Accuracy
Three-axis simultaneous interpolation is standard, with optional five-face machining through a right-angle head or a rotary table. Precision ballscrews and pre-tensioned mounting limit thermal drift, and laser-interferometer compensation is applied for volumetric accuracy.
Configuration and Acceptance Points
When specifying the machine, confirm the maximum workpiece weight and envelope, the spindle taper and torque for the hardest material to be cut, tool magazine capacity, and whether a right-angle or universal head is required. Acceptance typically covers geometric accuracy, positioning and repeat positioning accuracy, and a test cut of a representative workpiece. Final configuration and quotation are subject to inquiry confirmation.
