HS-1512 High-Speed Moving-Column Gantry Machining Center
A high-speed moving-column gantry for agile milling of medium-sized parts. The column moves while the worktable stays fixed, so rapid traverse and acceleration are high and the footprint is compact; typical X/Y/Z travels are 1500 × 1200 × 700 mm.

Moving-Column Layout for Agile Milling
On the HS-1512 the column travels in X while the worktable stays fixed, which reduces the moving mass and supports high acceleration without sacrificing gantry stiffness. Typical X/Y/Z travels are 1500 × 1200 × 700 mm, aimed at medium-sized parts that need fast, accurate milling rather than heavy hogging.

Linear Guideways and High-Speed Feed
All axes use pre-loaded linear roller guideways with high-lead ballscrews, and the drive is tuned for short non-cutting times. Combined with a fast spindle, this shortens the takt time for parts with many small features and tool changes.
High-Speed Spindle and Thermal Stability
A high-speed spindle with oil-air lubrication is available, and the moving-column casting is ribbed to hold geometry during rapid cycles. Spindle and screw cooling options limit thermal drift during continuous production.

Typical Part Families
3C and electronics structural parts, aluminium die-cast housings, light-alloy plates, and medium mould inserts where many small features must be milled quickly with frequent tool changes.

Configuration and Acceptance Points
Check the spindle speed and taper against the finishing requirement, confirm the tool magazine capacity and chip-to-chip time, and decide whether automatic pallet changing is needed. Acceptance typically covers positioning and repeat positioning accuracy and a high-speed finishing trial cut. Final configuration and quotation are subject to inquiry confirmation.
